🎙 About Henry

Henry Anumudu is a committed individual who is focused on building a better Africa where families can live decent lives and children can access quality education. He is currently the leader of Sharing Life Africa, a nonprofit organization that supports teaching and learning for children in underserved communities and invests in the economic empowerment of women so their children can have access to school.

Under Henry's leadership, Sharing Life Africa has created solutions and programs that ensure children have the necessary support and skills to fulfill their potentials. His mission is to ensure that every child and young person in Africa has access to the support to live decent lives and the skills to build a successful future for themselves.

Henry's journey towards achieving this mission began when he left his job as a communication specialist in 2017 to teach in a public school in Abeokuta, Ogun state. He now lives out his mission through his work at Sharing Life Africa by supporting underserved classrooms, creating access to economic opportunities for women in marginalized communities, creating programs that ensure children have the skills needed to succeed in the 21st century, and mentoring young committed men and women across Africa.

Henry was a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Edinburgh where he studied Africa and International Development. Through this program, he continued to build the knowledge, skills, and network to continue his mission of making a change in the world.
